Christmas Gnomes with Mint Felt Hats

These gnome sewing patterns are full size, with seams allowances, no scaling needed. Following my clear step-by-step tutorials, you will have not any problems. You will find detailed tutorials in my PDF file, how to make a holiday gnome with a large felt hat (100% wool) that everyone will love. Gnome measures 35 cm or 13-3/4 inches tall approx from the hat's top to the body bottom. You can make a female gnome with wool braids and a grandfather with wool mustaches, hair, and a beard.

I used for sewing these gnomes such materials, as fleece (plush, fur-microfiber), doll's jersey, wool felt, terry fabric, interlining, soft toy stuffing, poly-pellets stuffing, sewing threads, decorative buttons, satin ribbon, and wool felting yarn.
Large Christmas gnome
The next Christmas gnomes Olof and Karl are larger than the previous ones. The height of Olof is about 50 cm or 19-5/8 inches. This gnome has a large body, long arms with cozy mittens, and a removable big wool Swedish hat, decorating with handmade cranberries.

You will need to make this amazing Scandinavian gnome: fleece or plush fabric, thick woolen cloth, flannel, doll's jersey, long-pile faux fur, soft toy stuffing, cardboard, sewing threads, decorative buttons. If you want to make an accessory “Cranberry”, you'll need a fleece or felt, wood beads, glass beads, embroidery threads, sewing threads.
I used a curly (look like a sheep fur) long-pile faux fur for making the gnome's beard, hair, and mustaches. You can take any long-pile faux fur (curly, shaggy, or straight).
Making this gnome Olof, you will be very proud of yourself!
Sitting Christmas gnome with long legs
The gnome Karl has the same large body as Olof but also has long dangling legs with green elven shoes. Karl is wearing a removable Christmas hat and fleece mittens with cuffs too. This gnome's hat is lined. The ends of the earflaps turn away and close with snaps. The total height of the gnome is 78 cm or 30-3/4 inches approx.

Christmas Gnomes with Mushroom Hats
If you are looking for unique Christmas decorations, these gnomes with removable red mushroom hats (Amanita Muscaria) are perfect! You will make dolls 27–34 cm or 10-5/8–13-3/8 inches tall approx from the mushroom's top to the body bottom. Using my sewing patterns, you can make both variants of the hats.

These sewing patterns are full size. Only need to print on paper sheets, cut out all the details, and started to make!
Use quilting cotton fabrics. Take a polka-dotted cotton fabric, felt fabric or acrylic paints for the Christmas mushroom hat decorating. Also, you can embroider or draw with acrylic paints the closed or open eyes.
